What to Expect
Tea, coffee, or wine
Call me old-fashioned but I like to know who I’m dealing with before knowing what we’re dealing with. And that’s not something we can do over a phone call or a web meeting. Nothing can match genuine human interaction. So, pick the place, pick the beverage, and let’s set the date.
Clear Air
I hold the pen; you provide the ink. This is a partnership. I want to help you reach your destination, but I can’t carry you there. There are things I simply can’t do before you’ve done them yourself. So, we’ll figure out what they are before we get going.
Leaves
As much as I would like to say our time together and shared experience is payment enough, unfortunately, I cannot. Because it’s not true. Materialistically, money is a tool— sustenance. Symbolically, it enforces a commitment. It is a motivator to uphold both fair ends of the trade. But money is never the primary goal, so we can talk about splitting tree hairs when we get to it.
Undivided attention
My process is all-consuming— inspiration strikes at any moment, and it can’t be seized when the mind is preoccupied doing other things. I can’t be in two places at once. To maintain focus and consistency of voice, I tackle one project at a time. With that said, I aim to finalize small projects in less than a week, and big ones in two.
